Role Description This is a full-time, on-site QC Inspector role based in Coimbatore. The QC Inspector will perform in-process and final inspections of forged and machined components, drilling equipment, and related products using appropriate measuring instruments and gauges. The role includes reviewing technical drawings and specifications, recording inspection results, and preparing inspection reports in line with company standards. The QC Inspector will identify non-conformities, support root cause analysis, and coordinate with production and quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Responsibilities also include maintaining inspection records, ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures and customer requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Inspection for forged and machined components, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including documentation, compliance with standards, and support for audits.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams, and to clearly report inspection findings.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and basic knowledge of statistical quality control methods.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience in an industrial environment.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a structured, safety-conscious work approach.
- Prior experience in forging, precision machining, or drilling equipment manufacturing is an advantage.
