Job Title: QC Executive – Publishing
Location: Remote
Job Description
DataWorks is seeking a QC Executive to ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of publishing deliverables. Work remotely and collaborate with editors, designers, and production teams to deliver error-free, high-quality print and digital publications.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks on typeset pages, manuscripts, eBooks, indexes, and artwork.
- Verify formatting, styling, grammar, layout, and client specifications.
- Ensure compliance with publishing standards and quality guidelines.
- Identify issues and coordinate with production teams to resolve them.
- Maintain quality while meeting project deadlines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Publishing, Pre-media, or Quality Control.
- Strong knowledge of publishing workflows, typesetting, PDF & ePub QC.
- Excellent English language skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Bonus Skills
Hands-on experience in multilingual publishing workflows and publishing tools is a plus.
