Position: QC Engineer (Quality Control Engineer)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer with a strong background in the Elevator/Lift Industry. The ideal candidate should have expertise in quality inspections, lift safety standards, installation quality checks, testing & commissioning, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards throughout elevator installation, modernization, and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections for elevator installation, modernization, and maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with elevator safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct final inspection and testing before project handover.
- Verify installation quality according to engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Inspect elevator components, including traction systems, machine rooms, guide rails, doors, control panels, and safety devices.
- Check lift safety parameters such as emergency brake systems, overspeed governor, door safety sensors, limit switches, emergency alarm, Auto Rescue Device (ARD), and interlock systems.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with installation engineers and project teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Prepare quality inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and company quality procedures.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
- Monitor testing, commissioning, and performance of elevators before customer handover.
- Ensure proper documentation for quality records and project completion.
- Provide technical guidance to installation teams regarding quality improvements.
