Role Description The QC Analyst Specialist will work full time on-site at a pharma nutraceutical plant located in Vishakhapatnam. This role involves performing routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications. The specialist will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, document test results accurately, and support investigations into quality deviations or non-conformities. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with Quality Assurance, Production, and R&D teams, contributing to continuous improvement of QC procedures, and assisting in audits and inspections. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, GMP guidelines, and SOPs, while supporting the implementation of best practices in quality control.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in quality control practices, including testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Hands-on laboratory skills, including sample preparation, method execution, and documentation.
- Experience working with laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and other analytical instruments.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles, GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines relevant to pharma and nutraceutical products.
- 3–5 years of experience in QC within a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced plant setting.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in audits.
- Familiarity with documentation systems, SOPs, and electronic data recording; experience with ISO or similar quality standards is an advantage.
