Location: Lawrenceville, GA (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will support the PMO by maintaining project documentation, ensuring process compliance, managing schedules, and facilitating meetings. The role requires strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft tools, and a fundamental understanding of SDLC and project management frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Project Management principles and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, Outlook
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Able to work with high accuracy and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with document management practices

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator
  • Experience working with technical teams
  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to manage small projects and tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist PMs and leadership with intake forms, change requests, charters, waivers, and closures
  • Track timelines and ensure teams meet deadlines
  • Organize, attend, and document stakeholder meetings
  • Prepare presentations and materials for project updates
  • Maintain PMO documentation standards and best practices
  • Assist in onboarding new project managers
  • Monitor risks and support mitigation efforts
  • Create and maintain project calendars and schedules
  • Coordinate portfolio updates with PMO leadership
  • Facilitate meetings and manage small-scale project tasks
