About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights that aid in strategic decision-making. Their duties include gathering financial information from various sources, conducting detailed analysis, and creating financial models to forecast future trends. Key Responsibilities: •Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and budgets, to provide insights into the organization's financial performance. • Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans by analyzing trends and making recommendations for future financial decisions. • Analyze financial variances between actual and budgeted figures, investigating reasons behind discrepancies and providing actionable recommendations. • Develop complex financial models to support decision-making processes, such as forecasting future financial outcomes and evaluating investment opportunities. • Gather and compile financial data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness for analysis and reporting purposes. • Prepare and present financial reports, summaries, and findings to management, translating complex data into understandable insights for non-financial stakeholders. • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for various projects and initiatives, identifying areas for cost reduction or process improvement. • Monitor financial trends in the market and industry, staying abreast of economic developments that might impact the organization's financial performance. • Provide strategic financial recommendations based on analysis and evaluation, suggesting improvements in financial processes and policies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, marketing, and operations, to gather data and gain insights into the overall business performance. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, staying updated on accounting principles and industry best practices. • Evaluate financial risks and propose strategies to mitigate potential losses, contributing to the organization's risk management efforts. • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, addressing specific financial queries from management or stakeholders. • Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the immediate superior(s).

Qatari Investors Group is a Qatari Shareholding Company incorporated in the State of Qatar and governed by the provisions set-out in the Qatar Commercial Company's Law No (5) of 2002 and Qatar Stock Exchange regulations. The Company primarily engages in investment with subsidiary company's shares, bonds and securities.
