Research Scientist

HBKU's Qatar Environment & Energy Research Institute (QEERI) is seeking a highly motivated and impact-driven Research Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team tackling critical environmental challenges related to indoor air quality and exposure in urbanised arid regions. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong research track record in, and passionate about understanding and improving indoor air quality, quantifying human exposure and contributing to the broader area of environmental health research through innovative sensing applications, exposure assessment and development of relevant solutions. The successful candidate will support and lead applied research that combines advanced monitoring technologies with exposure science principles to enhance indoor environmental resilience and wellbeing. This role plays a key part in shaping our environmental health initiatives and supporting evidence-based indoor air quality policy, guidelines and standards.
