Job Description

  • Required Experience and Knowledge.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM.
  • Strong analytical skills for gathering requirements, documenting processes, and creating functional specifications.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement using ServiceNow functionalities.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Create BRD, FRS documents aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and conduct functional testing to ensure changes meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure any identified issues are resolved.
  • Document test results and track defects through to resolution.
  • Create user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles for end-users and administrators.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to help users understand the functionalities and best practices of ServiceNow.
  • Support end-users by providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Work closely with ServiceNow developers and administrators to ensure functional requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to support project progress.
  • Recommend enhancements and process improvements based on the latest ServiceNow capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications : ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation.
  • Specialist, or Business Analysis-related certifications (e.g. , CBAP).
  • ITIL Knowledge : Understanding of ITIL framework and IT Service Management (ITSM).

Best Practices

  • Agile Methodology : Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Data Analysis Tools : Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools within ServiceNow.
