QA Testing/Policy Center Consultant – Manual Tester
Duration: 7 months plus
Work type: REMOTE (INDIA)
Shift Timings: 1PM IST -10 PM IST
Start Date: 3/24/2026-10/9/2026 (extension possible)

Details:-
Experience in Testing Policy Center from the UI.
- Analyse requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Policy Center features and integrations.
- Design test scenarios and test cases for full policy lifecycle: New Business, Policy Change, Renewal, Cancellation, Rewrite, Reinstatement.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and E2E/SIT tests across UI, batch, and interfaces.
- Validate rating & pricing, forms, documents, and transactions against specs and reference calculations.
- Perform defect logging, triage, re‑testing and closure using standard test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr, Octane/ALM).
- Work in Agile teams, participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retros.
- Collaborate with BA, Dev, Integration, and DM teams; provide clear test status and risk updates.
- Contribute to test data creation (including complex multi‑policy / multi‑account scenarios).
- Support UAT and production validation as needed.
Required skills / experience
- Strong experience as a QA / Tester on P&C insurance projects.
- Solid understanding of policy lifecycle, rating, underwriting, forms, and documents.
- Experience with integration testing (e.g. billing, claims, DP, external services / ESB / APIs).
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Good SQL skills for basic DB validation (policy, risk, premium, transactions).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
- (InsuranceSuite Analyst / PolicyCenter Specialist).
- Experience with cloud PolicyCenter implementations.
- Exposure to test automation (Selenium/Tosca etc.) for regression packs.
- Experience in data migration testing for PC conversions.
