We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for testing applications, identifying and tracking bugs, and ensuring a seamless user experience before release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test web and mobile applications for functionality, usability, and performance
- Identify, report, and track bugs and issues efficiently
- Perform manual testing across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes
- Validate UI/UX against design specifications (Figma or other design tools)
- Conduct regression testing after bug fixes or feature updates
- Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues quickly
- Ensure applications meet business requirements and user expectations
- Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
- Verify API responses at a basic level when required
Requirements:
- 0-1 years of experience in software testing (web and mobile applications)
- Hands-on experience in manual testing
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong knowledge of test case creation and execution
- Basic understanding of APIs (preferred but not mandatory)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail with a structured thinking approach
- Willingness to deeply understand business logic before testing
- Ability to think beyond happy paths and identify edge cases and risks
- Analytical mindset with curiosity to question unexpected system behavior
- Good written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration
- Strong documentation skills for defect reporting and test case creation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Familiarity with test case design techniques
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
Tools (Optional but Preferred):
- Bug Tracking: Jira, ClickUp or similar tools
- Testing Tools: BrowserStack, Postman
- Documentation & Reporting: Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel
