Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a QA - Selenium Automation Test professional. Responsibilities include conducting software quality assurance and control tasks, developing automation scripts using Selenium, managing testing processes, reporting defects, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The role demands active participation in identifying areas for process improvement and executing QA strategies to deliver robust and reliable software solutions.
What You Must Bring
- 2+ years of Manual Testing experience across mobile applications(Android and IOS) and Web applications.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Testing using Java, with practical implementation of TestNG & Page Object Model (POM) — implemented in real projects, not just heard of.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on API Testing experience using any industry-standard tool (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent) — implemented in real projects, with test cases written and maintained for every release, well-versed with the defect life cycle from discovery to closure, and proficient with Git & GitHub.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to ask the right questions during design handover calls, a collaborative mindset working closely with design and dev teams to ship a better product, and hands-on experience helping developers reproduce bugs efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Read business documents to deeply understand product requirements and collaborate with designers and developers during requirement gathering.
Write test cases before the build is handed over for testing Test across Android, iOS & Web — on multiple mobile OS versions.
Automate web browser testing using Selenium with Java, and diligently log and track issues in defect tracking tools with precision.
Bonus Points
Familiarity with AI tools like Claude in a QA workflow
