As the Quality Engineer at Cittabase, you will spearhead the end-to-end quality strategy for a high-impact Transformation projects. You will be responsible for validating complex data pipelines moving from CRM and ERP into Modern Data platform environment, ensuring data integrity, performance, and reporting accuracy in Data Visualizations tools like Tableau/Looker.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership: Design and execute a comprehensive Data Validation Test Strategy for the program, covering Functional, Regression, and Non-Functional (Performance) testing.
- Automation Framework: Build and maintain an automated testing framework using QuerySurge APIs.
- Pipeline Validation: Validate end-to-end data ingestion from source to Data Platform
- Analytics Testing: Verify complex business logic ("The Brain") and validate reports/dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- CI/CD Integration
- Performance Engineering: Measure and optimize data latency, query execution times, and pipeline load windows against SLAs.
- Stakeholder Management: Participate in daily stand-ups, provide quality sign-offs for release phases, and manage defect triaging.
Required Technical Skills
- Data Testing Tools: Expert-level proficiency in QuerySurge (specifically using QuerySurge APIs for automation).
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Databases & Architecture: Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of DW architectures.
