Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal for a QA/QC Manager specializing in engineering and manufacturing. The QA/QC Manager will oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure all products meet high standards and comply with relevant industry specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing QA/QC policies, supervising production processes and inspections, managing a team of quality control professionals, analyzing and addressing quality issues, and preparing quality documentation and reports. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and manufacturing, to drive continuous improvements in product quality.
Qualifications
- Quality Assurance & Control Expertise: Proficiency in implementing and managing QA/QC policies, inspection procedures, and standards within engineering and manufacturing settings.
- Technical and Analytical Skills: Solid understanding of engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, design specifications, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015).
- Leadership and Team Supervision: Ability to lead and manage a team of quality control professionals, provide guidance, and ensure collaboration across departments.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving quality-related issues through root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Communication and Documentation Skills: Proficiency in preparing and presenting reports, quality documentation, and engaging with stakeholders across the organization.
- Proven experience in a QA/QC role specific to the engineering and manufacturing industry, with knowledge of standards in civil and structural products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; advanced certifications in quality management are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a results-oriented approach.
