Job Summary:
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and services meet established quality standards. The role involves developing quality plans, conducting inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and finished products.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and quality documentation.
Monitor site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
Identify defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients regarding quality issues.
Maintain proper documentation of quality records and reports.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, ASTM, BIS, etc.)
Good understanding of inspection tools and testing methods
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Good communication and reporting skills
Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation tools
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant field)
Experience:
0–2 years (Fresher) or 2–5 years (Experienced candidates)
Experience in construction/manufacturing/production industry preferred
Certifications (Preferred):
ISO 9001: Quality Management System
Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt)
NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Certification (if applicable)
