Role Description This is a full-time, on-site QA/QC role based in Bhatkal/Haveri/Khanapur/Kumta. The QA/QC professional will monitor and inspect construction activities, materials, and workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, reviewing drawings and method statements, checking materials against approved standards, and documenting test results and non-conformities. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to implement corrective actions, prevent recurring issues, and support continuous improvement. The QA/QC professional will also prepare and maintain quality records, assist in internal audits, and support the development and enforcement of quality procedures on-site.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices in a construction or related engineering environment.
- Experience in Quality Management, including implementing and maintaining quality systems and processes on construction projects.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or equivalent regulated-quality frameworks, and ability to adapt such principles to construction workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Auditing, including planning, executing, and reporting on internal and external audits.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with construction standards, codes, and safety regulations applicable in India.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary site teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with basic office and project documentation tools; exposure to QA/QC software or digital inspection tools is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, safety, and continuous improvement in quality performance.
