We are looking for a highly motivated QA Lead who can establish and drive quality assurance practices across our fintech platform while collaborating closely with engineering, product, fintech operations, and compliance teams.
About the Role:
The QA Lead - Fintech Platform will be responsible for defining, implementing, and leading quality assurance and testing practices across Purpleplum’s fintech ecosystem.
This role focuses on ensuring reliability, stability, and quality across APIs, middleware systems, onboarding workflows, internal tools, and third-party integrations that support both client operations and internal business processes.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on testing expertise with leadership capabilities to build scalable QA processes, reduce production issues, and improve release confidence across the platform.
Location: Hyderabad
Timings - 2 PM - 11 PM
Shift - US Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA activities across fintech platform applications and integrations
- Define and improve QA processes, testing standards, and release validation
- Perform manual testing for APIs, workflows, integrations, and system changes
- Build and maintain regression test cases and test documentation
- Validate end-to-end workflows across internal and third-party systems
- Track, manage, and coordinate defect resolution with development teams
- Participate in release planning and production readiness validation
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, Fintech Operations, and Compliance teams
- Monitor QA metrics and improve overall release quality
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA or Software Testing
- Strong experience in: - API Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Workflow Testing, Regression Testing
- Experience with tools like: - Postman, JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
- Understanding of: - Microservices, Distributed systems, System integrations and data flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fintech, banking, or payments domain
- Exposure to AML, onboarding, compliance, or transaction systems
- Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
