Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications to ensure thorough test coverage.
Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system, providing clear and concise information to facilitate efficient resolution by the development team.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements, clarify ambiguities, and ensure testability of new features and enhancements.
Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved and that new code changes have not introduced any new issues.
Participate in test automation efforts by creating and maintaining automated test scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance the overall quality of the software development process.

Required Skillset

Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications.
Proven ability to identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
