Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Location: Mira Road

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual testing processes and test automation. The role involves designing structured test plans, managing the testing lifecycle, ensuring product quality through systematic manual testing, and building automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test management, and automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Understand product requirements, business logic, and technical specifications.
• Create test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Perform exploratory testing and edge-case validation.
• Manage the complete testing lifecycle including:
• Test planning
• Test case design
• Test execution
• Bug tracking
• Test reporting
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability from requirements to test cases.

Automation Testing

• Design and implement automation test scripts.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using:
• Playwright
• Selenium
• Automate regression, smoke, and critical workflows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain test reliability and improve automation coverage.
• Debug automation failures and improve stability of test suites.

Required Skills

Manual Testing

• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• UAT Support
• Ability to analyze requirements and design structured test cases.

Automation Testing

• Hands-on experience with:
• Playwright
• Selenium
• Experience writing automation scripts using JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / Python.
• Experience in API testing automation (optional but preferred).
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with test reporting tools.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing basics.
