Role Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer who can ensure enterprise-grade product quality across web, mobile, API, workflow, and system integration layers. This role is not limited to test execution. It requires strong ownership of test strategy, business workflow validation, defect prevention, automation coverage, release confidence, and production-quality assurance in a fast-moving AI-enabled development environment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable testing complex workflow-heavy applications, identifying edge cases early, validating AI-generated product output, and working closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure stable and high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality validation for enterprise applications, operational systems, internal tools, and user-facing platforms.
- Create detailed test strategies, test plans, test cases, scenario matrices, and release validation checklists.
- Perform strong manual testing across functional, regression, integration, exploratory, UAT, and end-to-end workflows.
- Validate complex business processes including multi-role workflows, approvals, exceptions, reversals, permissions, and status transitions.
- Build and maintain test automation coverage for high-priority, repeatable, and business-critical workflows.
- Execute API testing, integration testing, and data validation across interconnected systems.
- Work with Product Managers to ensure requirements are testable, complete, and traceable to business outcomes.
- Work with Engineering to identify root causes, reduce rework, and improve release quality.
- Use AI tools to accelerate test case generation, identify edge cases, improve exploratory testing, analyze defects, and optimize regression coverage.
- Validate AI-enabled or intelligent system behaviors where applicable, including output quality, consistency, fallback handling, and failure conditions.
- Log, prioritize, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps, business impact, and supporting evidence.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, requirement review, design review, release planning, and post-release retrospectives.
- Ensure release readiness through structured validation, smoke testing, regression signoff, and business-critical scenario coverage.
- Support UAT cycles and help business teams validate whether delivered features are production-ready.
- Contribute to quality documentation, test evidence, release notes validation, and QA process improvement.
- Monitor defect trends and identify recurring quality gaps in requirements, design, coding, or deployment practices.

Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in QA with hands-on ownership of manual and automation testing
- Strong knowledge of STLC, defect lifecycle, test planning, scenario design, regression strategy, and Agile QA practices
- Strong manual testing capability across workflow-heavy enterprise applications
- Experience in automation using at least one modern framework such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, or similar
- Strong ability to test end-to-end workflows, business logic, validations, status flows, and exception handling
- Experience working with Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or similar issue-tracking tools
- Familiarity with scripting/programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python for automation and validation
- Experience validating integrations, data consistency, and cross-system scenarios
- Strong analytical ability, documentation discipline, and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Comfort using AI tools for test generation, test refinement, exploratory support, and QA productivity
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, logistics, operations, or other workflow-heavy and compliance-sensitive domains
- Experience in testing role-based systems with permissions, audit trails, approvals, and controlled workflows
- Experience with CI/CD-integrated QA processes
- Exposure to performance testing, test data management, and environment coordination
- Exposure to testing AI-assisted features, prompt-based systems, or intelligent workflow components
- Experience in building reusable automation assets for regression acceleration
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- QA certifications are a plus, but not mandatory
