As a Senior QA Engineer at SpotDraft, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, stability, and quality of our platform. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to drive robust testing practices, improve release quality, and contribute to scalable QA processes across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Functional & Manual Testing: Design, develop, and execute functional and manual test cases to ensure high product quality across web and mobile platforms.
- Regression & Exploratory Testing: Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing for new and existing product features.
- Automation Contributions: Drive and contribute to automation efforts using Playwright or similar frameworks to improve testing efficiency and release reliability.
- Performance Testing Support: Contribute to performance testing and optimization initiatives where applicable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Defect Management: Identify, log, prioritize, and track bugs effectively to ensure timely resolution and high-quality releases.
- AI & Emerging Tools: Stay updated with AI trends and tools, exploring opportunities to improve QA workflows and productivity.
- Ownership & Mentorship: Take ownership of deliverables, drive QA best practices, and mentor junior QA engineers.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in QA engineering with strong expertise in functional and manual testing.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of regression, integration, and exploratory testing methodologies.
- Exposure to performance testing tools and practices is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive deliverables and improve processes.
- Curiosity around emerging AI trends and tools relevant to QA and software testing.
