As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in accelerating quality engineering across multiple cloud‑based SaaS products within Koch companies. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests across Web, API, and Mobile applications using modern open‑source technologies. This role directly contributes to strengthening Koch’s global technology ecosystem by embedding high‑impact automation into Agile delivery teams.

Information Technology team at Koch Global Services India, working closely with global and regional Agile teams. This team is focused on building scalable digital capabilities, enabling innovation, and supporting Koch’s enterprise‑wide technology modernization agenda. As Koch Technology India continues rapid expansion, this role provides a unique opportunity to grow with a global organization and contribute to building foundational capabilities from the ground up.
What You Will Do
- Participate as a core member of an Agile Scrum team to plan, refine, and deliver product features.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and Mobile native applications.
- Work with Software Engineers to define unit and contract test scenarios aligned with risk and business value.
- Translate acceptance criteria into executable test cases and automation steps.
- Analyze test coverage and execution results, and publish automation metrics.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and follow established test methods for efficient delivery.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Analysts to ensure high‑quality application changes.
- Contribute to quality engineering transformation initiatives, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Support test planning, reporting, requirements validation, and defect management activities.
- Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving, strong ownership, and the ability to work under pressure.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 4–8 years of experience in QA Automation, including framework setup, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting.
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in Web, API, and Mobile test automation using open‑source tools.
- 2+ years of experience with Playwright (TS/JS) for automation using the native framework.
- 2+ years of experience with Appium (TS/JS) for Mobile automation.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and Git.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work across multiple tasks and learn complex product functionalities quickly.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience leveraging GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate test automation.
- Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of JMeter and performance testing concepts.
- Exposure to enterprise‑scale Agile environments.
