Job Purpose
We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer with strong experience in automated testing using Cypress and an interest in leveraging AI to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. This role is well-suited for someone comfortable working with content-heavy platforms, where validation of CMS-driven behaviour takes precedence over traditional feature-based testing. The ideal candidate will bring a thoughtful approach to quality assurance, with an emphasis on dynamic content validation, accessibility, and performance within a CMS environment.
Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress
• Leverage AI tools and techniques to optimise test creation, execution, and maintenance
• Validate CMS-driven functionality, including dynamic content rendering and content workflows
• Perform end-to-end testing across content management platforms
• Ensure high standards of accessibility (e.g., WCAG compliance) across the platform
• Conduct performance and responsiveness testing for content-heavy applications
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and content teams to ensure quality across releases
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessment
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, particularly in AI-assisted testing
Job Specification / Skills and Competencies
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for test automation
• Experience or exposure to AI-assisted testing tools or frameworks
• Familiarity with testing CMS platforms (any CMS experience is acceptable)
• Understanding of dynamic content behavior and validation approaches
• Experience in accessibility testing and best practices
• Knowledge of performance testing fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
• Experience with Playwright for test automation
• Exposure to modern headless CMS platforms
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
