🔍 We're Hiring | QA Engineer — Sports Tech
📍 Remote | 🕐 Full-time | 🏢 Future Sportler
💰 ₹5 LPA + Up to ₹3 Lakh in ESOPs
We ship fast — but we ship right. We're looking for a QA Engineer who takes ownership of product quality end to end and understands the nuances of testing in a sports tech environment. 🛠️ What You'll Do:
- Own quality across the entire product — mobile app, web platform, and AI-powered sports features
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for new features and releases
- Test sports-specific workflows — live match sessions, player analytics, performance dashboards, and real-time data flows
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity classification
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across iOS and Android
- Validate AI model outputs — ensuring player tracking, detection, and analytics results are accurate and consistent
- Work closely with developers, designers, and the AI team to catch issues early in the development cycle
- Monitor production for quality issues, crashes, and unexpected behaviour post-release
- Contribute to building a culture of quality across the team
✅ What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in QA — mobile and web testing in production environments
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle — from test planning to sign-off
- Experience with bug tracking tools — Jira, Linear, or similar
- Solid grasp of both manual and automated testing approaches
- Ability to test data-heavy and real-time features — sports analytics, dashboards, or live data feeds
- Sharp attention to detail — you notice things that others scroll past
- Good communication skills — you write bug reports that developers actually understand
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
🎯 Nice to Have:
- Experience testing AI or computer vision features — validating model accuracy and edge cases
- Familiarity with automation frameworks — Appium, Selenium, Detox, or similar
- Understanding of API testing — Postman, REST clients, or similar
- Background in sports, sports media, or sports technology
- Experience with performance testing and load testing tools
