# Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing based in Gurgaon, with 5 Days Working (Hybrid – 3 Days Work From Office).
The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and executing both manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applications to ensure software quality and reliability. The role involves analyzing business and technical requirements, preparing detailed test scenarios, maintaining test documentation, and identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution.
The candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to validate functionality, verify bug fixes, and support regression, smoke, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
The role also includes contributing to automation testing initiatives, improving QA processes, supporting release cycles, and participating in quality reviews to ensure the delivery of stable and high-performing applications.
# Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles.
- Strong understanding of Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience creating and executing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Knowledge of defect lifecycle management and bug tracking processes.
- Familiarity with Automation Testing tools/frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies.
- Basic understanding of unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, and Jest is an added advantage.
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications built using technologies such as .NET, Angular, React, React Native, and Flutter.
- Understanding of API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and perform positive and negative testing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
