Role: QA Engineer – Big Data Products
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 2 Years
Work Hours: India Standard Time (Team Sync-ups in PST)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote - Candidates can work from anywhere in India)
We are seeking a QA Engineer to support large-scale Big Data products by performing both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have experience testing data-intensive applications, validating large datasets, building automation frameworks, and working with APIs, SQL, and ETL processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases
- Validate APIs, databases, and ETL workflows
- Perform data validation on large-scale datasets
- Create automation scripts using Java or Python
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams
- Track and resolve defects throughout the SDLC
Requirements
- Strong manual and automation testing experience
- Experience testing Big Data or data platform applications
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python
- Strong SQL and API testing skills
- Experience with Selenium, TestComplete, Protractor, or BDD frameworks
