Role Description
We are seeking QA Desktop Applications Test Engineers for full-time role in ATI Accurate Technologies India based in Bengaluru, India. The primary responsibility of this position is to create and execute test cases, as well as document and verify issues found during testing of ATI Products in order to ensure that quality software products are delivered to ATI customers.
· Responsible for testing Desktop application software.
. Responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
· Responsible for executing manual test cases.
· Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
· Isolate the root cause of an issue and create steps to reproduce
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
· Review test plans and test cases to provide timely feedback.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
Education:
· BE or B. Tech
Essential Skills/Experience:
. QA expierence - 5+ Years
· Experience in testing Desktop application software is a must
· Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
· Strong problem-solving skill set with a strong attention to detail.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills/Experience
· Experience with performance testing.
· Strong Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
· Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Bonus Skills/Experience
o Working with SW/HW teams to define test cases
o Work with development teams to define/refine tests
o Defining core test processes and test cases for each product:
SW Products: VISION, Client Services, VISION Data Analyzer (VDA), ATI Automation Client (APTL), VISION Tool Suite, RP (No-Hooks, Advanced No-Hooks, OnTarget, MBC), CANLab, Hardware Config Tool, Calibration Station, …

Device Drivers
o Define tests to be run on each build to ensure core product functionality
Unit Tests run during builds
Automating QA Tests to run to improve Test coverage
Manual tests that should be run each build
Regression testing
o Document results of tests run to quickly identify good/bad test results and provide post analysis
o Define good vs. bad data, both data used as test input and resulting test output
o Defining good tests to not only test the individual TFS item acceptance criteria, but areas they may impact outside of the immediate scope of the item
· Documenting and organizing the test processes and test cases
· Help managing Integration Testing
· Help Managing QA Testing
· Help test engineers on processes, test results, issues
· Training other engineers on test processes
· Research/Compare competitive products
· Maintain updated knowledge standards and specifications used in industry
· Experience with automation testing tools.
· Programming languages (C#, Visual Basic, Python)
· COM/API Interfaces
· Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Teams, TFS)
