Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements, wire-frames, and acceptance criteria. Write and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Postman for web and API testing. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and regression testing. Perform end-to-end, integration, and exploratory testing across the system. Collaborate closely with developers, front-end/back-end teams, and product owners to identify test scenarios and resolve defects. Perform API testing using tools like Postman or automated scripts to validate request/response structures, performance, and data integrity. Log and track bugs in a clear, concise, and reproducible manner using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello. Validate UI/UX behavior, responsiveness, and accessibility in various devices and browsers. Monitor and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to trigger automated test execution and ensure build stability. Maintain documentation for QA processes, automation test suites, and test execution results. Support performance testing, security validation, and cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility checks as needed. Identify opportunities for test automation in manual workflows and propose improvements to increase test coverage and efficiency. Stay up to date with QA trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and manual testing methodologies.
