Job Description – QA Automation Engineer | Capital Markets (Remote)
Experience - 2-5 Yrs
Work Mode - Remote
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Manual & Automation Testing, AI-driven test automation, and the Capital Markets domain, with experience across front-end, back-end, and end-to-end financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Test complete trade lifecycle workflows, not limited to front-end/UI applications.
- Validate back-end services, APIs, databases, integrations, and downstream systems.
- Test Clearing, Settlement, Risk, and Margin processes.
- Validate SPAN Margin, Spread Instruments, and related trading/risk calculations.
- Leverage AI/GenAI for test-case generation, automation scripting, test-data creation, defect analysis, and test optimization.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and support Agile delivery.
- Collaborate with development, business, and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
Required Skills
- Strong Manual & Automation Testing experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, API automation, and database testing.
- Programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong SQL, REST API, Git, and CI/CD knowledge.
- Practical experience with AI/GenAI-based test automation.
- Strong Capital Markets domain knowledge, including:
- Trading & Order Management
- Spread Instruments
- SPAN Margin / Margin Calculations
- Risk Management
- Clearing & Settlement
- Trade Lifecycle
- Market Data
- Experience testing back-end and integration layers, not just front-end/UI applications.
Experience
2-5+ years of QA experience with strong hands-on expertise in Manual Testing, Automation, AI Automation, and Capital Markets applications, preferably covering front-to-back trade lifecycle and post-trade systems.
