Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in test automation, hands-on expertise with TestComplete, and a solid understanding of software quality assurance processes. You will play a key role in building and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure the highest quality of our CAD/CAM software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using TestComplete.
- Analyze software requirements and translate them into detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute automated and manual tests across functional, regression, and integration test cycles.
- Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), providing quality feedback at each stage.
- Prepare testing reports and communicate test results clearly to stakeholders and project managers.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and best practices within the QA team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with TestComplete (SmartBear) for UI and functional test automation — required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — required.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and SDLC.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts (JavaScript, Python, or VBScript within TestComplete).
- Ability to analyze requirements and create clear, detailed test scenarios and test documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an in-office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
- Knowledge of version control systems.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, CNC machining, or manufacturing domain.
- Experience with performance or load testing tools.
