About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in automation testing to join our growing Fintech engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, JUnit, etc.)
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform API, UI, and regression testing for web and mobile applications.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).
- Identify, document, and track bugs through defect management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain automation scripts for evolving applications.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable insights to the engineering team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and automation efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in automation testing.
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Proficiency in automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, Cucumber, etc.
- Experience with API testing, Postman, and JSON/XML validations.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Good communication, analytical, and debugging skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Fintech, Banking, or Payments domain.
- Knowledge of Microservices testing and Database validations (SQL/PostgreSQL).
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
