Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Java & Selenium
Create, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
Perform API testing & automation using Postman and Rest Assured
Execute and maintain automated regression & smoke test suites
Validate backend functionality through API & database testing (SQL)
Identify, log, track, and drive closure of defects using bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team to ensure high-quality releases
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives)
Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and continuous improvement in testing processes
Support and integrate automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Perform cross-browser & cross-platform testing where required
Contribute to test data preparation and environment setup
