QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Functional Testing and Test Automation using Selenium and Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, defect management, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Build and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or similar defect-management systems.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Develop and maintain test data and test environments.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, test planning, and defect triage meetings.
- Maintain automation scripts and continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Investigate test failures and provide detailed reports on defects and automation results.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and automation best practices.
