We are looking for a QA Analyst responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and accuracy of the company’s technology solutions, with a strong focus on the data layer across enterprise systems. This includes validating ERP data, business intelligence reports, data pipelines, and integrations to ensure they operate in accordance with defined business requirements and technical specifications.
The role focuses on verifying data integrity, validating business logic, and ensuring consistency of information across systems and reports. The QA Analyst works closely with ERP specialists, developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to identify data issues, validate outputs, and support the delivery of reliable and accurate information for business operations and decision-making.
In addition to system validation, the role involves analyzing company data, including ERP and PMS (Planned Maintenance System) datasets, to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improving data quality and system processes. The QA Analyst also contributes to strengthening QA practices and data validation standards across IT projects.
Responsibilities & Duties
Data Validation & Integrity:
- Validate data accuracy across ERP systems, reports, and integrations.
- Verify business logic used in BI dashboards and operational reports.
Data Layer Testing:
- Test data pipelines, transformations, and system integrations.
- Ensure consistency of data across systems and reporting platforms.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze ERP and PMS datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
- Support improvement of data quality and system processes.
Issue Identification:
- Identify and document data-related issues and inconsistencies.
- Track issues and support resolution with development and ERP teams.
QA Process Improvement:
- Maintain test cases for data validation and reporting checks.
- Contribute to improving QA and data validation practices across IT systems.
24/7 Availability:
- Support critical system validations and urgent data issues when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, data validation, or system testing roles.
- Experience validating ERP data, business intelligence reports, or enterprise system outputs.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying tools for validating data accuracy.
- Experience testing BI reports and dashboards (Power BI or similar).
- Understanding of data pipelines, integrations, and data transformations.
- Familiarity with issue tracking systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Service Desk.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in maritime systems, ERP platforms, or PMS systems will be considered an advantage.
