Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated QA Engineer with 2+ Years to 8+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust testing strategies, defect analysis, and Agile collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API-based applications.
• Perform defect analysis, track bugs, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and REST Assured.
• Execute API testing using Postman.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in test planning, documentation, and reporting.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in Java or scripting languages (JavaScript/TypeScript/Pytthon).
• Experience with testing tools: Playwright, Postman, JMeter, REST Assured, Cypress.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments and containerization (Docker).
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification added advantage
• Exposure to performance and security testing is a plus.
