Senior Python Software Engineer – Industrial Automation & Machine Vision
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Preferred)

About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Python Software Engineer to build next-generation industrial automation and inspection software used in real-world manufacturing environments.
This is not a typical web development role.
You will design and develop high-performance desktop applications that integrate with industrial hardware, machine vision systems, motion controllers, sensors, and data acquisition devices. Your work will directly power intelligent inspection platforms used for automation, quality control, and industrial testing.

What You'll Build
You'll be responsible for developing production-grade applications that integrate with:

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable desktop applications using Python and PyQt/PySide (Qt).
- Build robust software modules for integrating industrial hardware through vendor SDKs and APIs.
- Develop Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) components for cameras, sensors, motion controllers, and industrial devices.
- Develop real-time image acquisition, visualization, and inspection workflows.
- Build modular distributed software architecture using inter-process communication and messaging frameworks.
- Integrate industrial communication protocols including TCP/IP, Modbus, CAN, OPC-UA, Serial Communication, and Ethernet-based devices.
- Optimize applications for high-performance, low-latency execution.
- Design clean, maintainable, and scalable software architectures following SOLID principles.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and system-level tests.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, electronics, mechanical, and AI engineering teams.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and design specifications.
