Job Title: Python Django Engineer (Development & Support)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Python Django Engineer with hands-on experience in both software development and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting web applications built using Python and Django. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high application availability and continuous improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework
- Experience with REST APIs
- Good understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Git version control
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK Stack, or Datadog
- Experience with scripting and automation
Nice to Have
- Experience in microservices architecture
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Experience working in banking, fintech, healthcare, or enterprise applications
- Understanding of ITIL support processes and incident management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in Python/Django application development and production support.
