About The Opportunity

A fast-growing software product organization in the SaaS and web applications sector building scalable, data-driven platforms for enterprise and SMB customers. We develop secure, high-performance back-end services and customer-facing web applications that power transactional workflows and analytics.

We are hiring an on-site Python Django Developer in India to join the core engineering team and own feature delivery, reliability, and performance for production services.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Django-based web applications and backend services with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Build and own RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework, including API versioning, authentication, and documentation.
• Optimize data models and SQL queries, implement schema migrations, and tune PostgreSQL for production workloads.
• Implement and operate background processing and scheduled jobs using Celery; select and configure brokers and monitoring for resilient pipelines.
• Containerize applications with Docker, collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation.
• Drive engineering quality through unit/integration tests, code reviews, debugging in production, and clear technical documentation.

Qualifications: Proven track record building production Django applications; hands-on experience with API-first design, database performance tuning, container-based deployments, and operating background job systems. This is an on-site role based in India.
