Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and modern web frameworks (Django/Flask).
- Implement database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL stores; optimise for reliability and performance.
- Build and maintain containerised deployments using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines for frequent, safe releases.
- Author unit and integration tests (pytest/unittest) and participate in code reviews to enforce engineering standards.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, profile performance bottlenecks and implement scalable fixes.
- Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams to translate requirements into robust, maintainable solutions.

- Proven experience building production backend services in Python (backend-focused role).
