Python Backend Developer

Role Overview
Looking for a solid backend engineer who actually knows what they’re doing with Python, not just surface-level scripting. You’ll be building scalable, data-driven applications and APIs, working with distributed systems, and handling real-world performance issues.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Python (core + backend development)
- Solid experience with Pandas for data processing and analysis
- Experience in asynchronous/multiprocessing systems (Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis)
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs (design, development, consumption)
- Experience building scalable web applications and APIs
- Good understanding of software design principles and architecture
- Experience with databases like MongoDB and/or MySQL
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, SVN)
- Ability to work on backend-heavy systems with minimal supervision
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to AI/ML or NLP concepts
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (especially Kubernetes)
- Experience integrating multiple data sources / third-party APIs
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
- Experience in mentoring or guiding junior developers
