Job Description - Python Developer
Role - Python Developer
Experience - 3 Years

About The Role
As a Python Developer with 3 years of experience, you will be a key contributor to developing, deploying, and maintaining our core python-based services/algorithms and data pipelines that power our AI-driven asset management platform. You will focus on building robust, scalable, and efficient solutions for data transformation, processing, API development, and MLOps support, working closely with Data Scientists and Software Engineers.
What You Will Do
- 1. Development of Python-based Analytics Services/Algorithms: Design, develop, test, and deploy analytics services or algorithms using python as the core programming language.
- 2. Timeseries Analytics: Conceptualize solutions and develop python-based production-grade modules for processing large-scale time-series data on a real-time/periodic basis.
- 3. Data Pipeline Engineering: Build and optimize scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) for real-time and batch processing of SCADA/CMS/IoT time-series data.
- Database Management: Work extensively with NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL databases, optimizing schemas, queries, and ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Working with Cloud: Deploy and manage applications and services on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) using containerization technologies (Docker).
- Backend Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, high-performance APIs and microservices using Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask) to support platform features and external integrations.
- 7. MLOps Support: Collaborate with the Data Science team to productionize ML models, implement logging, monitoring, experiment tracking (MLflow/DVC), and ensure CI/CD for model deployment.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; implement unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability and stability.
- Documentation: Draft excellent solution blueprints (ERDs, Business logics, Solution architects, etc.)
What You Will Need
- Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience in Python development, particularly in production-grade analytics development or data engineering.
- Core Technical Skills:
- High-level of Expertise in Python and its ecosystem (including pandas, numpy).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). c. Excellent understanding and proven experience with time-series data analysis and handling of datetime
- Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of version control using Git.
- Cloud & Deployment:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and service deployment.
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerization principles.
- Familiarity with time-series databases or stores is a plus.
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, tools like MLflow or DVC.
- Mindset:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering robust, scalable solutions.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of feature development from design to deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
