Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Python Developer role based in the Pune Division. The Python Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and services using Python and related frameworks. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, testable code; integrating APIs and databases; troubleshooting and debugging issues; and improving application performance. The role involves collaborating with product, QA, and other engineering team members to define requirements, estimate effort, and deliver features on schedule. The Python Developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help improve development practices and tooling.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python, with solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful services, APIs, and server-side logic.
- Hands-on experience with Databases (relational and/or NoSQL), including schema design, queries, and optimization.
- Proven background in Software Development, including version control (e.g., Git), testing practices, and debugging.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and break work into manageable tasks.
- Familiarity with common Python frameworks (such as Django or Flask) is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and CI/CD concepts.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
