Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Python Developer at Scienaptic AI. The Python Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power AI-driven credit decisioning workflows. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and integrating applications with databases and other internal or external systems. The role involves collaborating closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to build scalable solutions, optimize system performance, and ensure secure handling of financial data. The Python Developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and support continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and development practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), preferably with deep proficiency in Python.
- Candidates should possess experience in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Candidates should possess solid foundations in Software Development practices, such as version control, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess practical experience working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing data access.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows, data pipelines, or fintech/financial services environments is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in remote, cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
