Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Microservices, Azure, and SQL. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable cloud-native applications, drive technical excellence, and mentor engineering teams in building high-performance enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python
- Build and manage Microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs
- Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services
- Optimize SQL queries, indexing, and database performance
- Implement event-driven systems using messaging platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and drive engineering best practices
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and deployment strategies
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and delivery planning
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django)
- Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and REST APIs
- Strong SQL expertise including:
- Query Optimization
- Indexing
- Data Modeling
- Extensive experience with Azure Services:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Azure Functions
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- API Management (APIM)
- Azure SQL
- Experience with event-driven architectures:
- Kafka
- Azure Event Hub
- Azure Service Bus
- Hands-on experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipeline experience using:
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub Actions
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
