Role Description This full-time hybrid Python Developer role is based in Hyderabad, with a mix of on-site collaboration and flexibility for some work from home. The Python Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across Hypersoft’s financial, business, and industry-specific products. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code, implementing APIs, integrating with databases, and participating in code reviews and testing activities. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, refine technical specifications, and translate business needs into robust software solutions. The developer will also troubleshoot issues, optimize existing systems, contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, and support deployments and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Strong programming foundation with proficiency in Python and general Programming concepts.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in production systems.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs and integration with front-end or external services.
- Hands-on experience working with Databases (SQL or NoSQL), including schema design, queries, and performance optimization.
- Background in Software Development practices such as version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in domains such as financial systems, ERP, or business applications is an advantage.
- Familiarity with frameworks and tools commonly used in Python backend development (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) is beneficial.
