About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Python & MLOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at UST. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying machine learning models within scalable, automated pipelines. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust MLOps frameworks to streamline model lifecycle management, automate model training and deployment processes, and ensure high availability and performance of AI solutions. The candidate will collaborate closely with data scientists, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end ML solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices in model governance, versioning, and monitoring.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing the latest cloud-native technologies such as GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our AI platform architecture, ensuring efficient model deployment, and maintaining system robustness and security. Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in Python development and MLOps engineering
- Proven expertise in modeling automation, ML pipeline development, and workflow orchestration
- Hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of model lifecycle management, artifact versioning, and model registry practices
- Experience working with cloud platforms like GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML, and familiarity with AWS SageMaker
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid scripting, automation, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ML deployment, Git, and experiment tracking tools
- Knowledge of cloud-native deployment strategies and scalable AI platform architecture
Good-to-have skills include experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code, data versioning, feature stores, and exposure to LLMOps or Generative AI workflows. Familiarity with Spark-based ML workloads, Databricks, Airflow, Prefect, and Agile/Scrum methodologies will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated ML pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment
- Implement and manage MLOps frameworks, ensuring seamless model versioning, registry, and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models in production environments
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of ML solutions
- Containerize models and deploy them on cloud platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services
- Monitor model performance, detect anomalies, and implement improvements for stability and scalability
- Automate workflows using tools like Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration frameworks
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy standards in all deployment processes
- Maintain documentation of models, pipelines, and infrastructure for transparency and reproducibility
- Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, ML, and MLOps to continuously enhance platform capabilities
