Job Title: Python developer

About the Role
Dropty is building an AI-powered platform with real-time voice interactions and intelligent systems. We are looking for a Backend Developer who can design and build scalable, high-performance APIs and services that power AI-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI preferred)
- Design scalable APIs for AI systems (LLM, RAG, voice pipelines)
- Implement asynchronous processing, queues, and real-time systems
- Integrate third-party APIs (LLMs, speech services, vector databases)
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and optimize performance
- Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with frontend and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with FastAPI / Flask / Django
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Knowledge of async programming and API performance optimization
- Familiarity with Git and deployment workflows
Good to Have
- Experience with AI/ML integrations (LLMs, embeddings, RAG systems)
- Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with Docker and microservices architecture
- Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming APIs)
