Skills Required
- Core Backend: Strong proficiency in Python (3.8+), Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles, Experience with async programming and concurrency
- Microservices & Architecture
- Cloud (Azure): Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Databases: SQL: PostgreSQL / MySQL
- DevOps & Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines, API documentation (Swagger / OpenAPI)
Key Responsibility
- Design and develop high-performance REST APIs using FastAPI
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure
- Work with asynchronous programming (async/await) for high throughput systems
- Design database schemas and optimize queries
- Implement API security (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC)
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
Ensure observability (logging, monitoring, tracing)
