The Role
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer (3–5 years) to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications and APIs for healthcare use cases. In this role, you will work with FastAPI, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and modern cloud-native architectures to deliver reliable healthcare solutions that meet industry compliance and quality standards.
What you'll do
- Build and scale high-performance APIs using FastAPI
- Design and maintain cloud-native Python services on Google Cloud Platform
- Implement secure authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
- Monitor, debug, and optimize applications in production
- Take ownership of features from idea → production
What you bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on Python development experience
- Strong understanding of Python fundamentals, OOP, and design patterns
- Solid experience with FastAPI and RESTful API design
- Good grasp of async/await and asynchronous programming
- Experience deploying applications on GCP (Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, or Compute Engine)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Firestore)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and testing frameworks (pytest/unittest)
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience working in the healthcare domain
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Experience with event-driven systems (Pub/Sub, Kafka)
