Role Overview (Backend-Focused)
- Backend-heavy role suited for high-ownership engineers in early-stage environments
- Requires balancing rapid delivery with scalable, production-grade quality
- Ideal for engineers comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration cycles
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale backend systems using Python (FastAPI/Django)
- Build and manage distributed systems and async workflows
- Work with task queues: Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Celery, Temporal
- Develop and maintain containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Implement feature flags, logging, observability, and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry)
- Ship features in fast, iterative cycles with a lean engineering team
- Define and improve engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows
- Collaborate on product architecture and technical decision-making
- Contribute to AI-driven features: LLM integrations, data enrichment, scoring systems
