About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the foundation of our core projects by developing scalable, reliable, and efficient backend solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Python. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s or higher qualification. Proven expertise in RESTful API design, object-oriented programming, and familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as version control systems such as Git. Additional skills in Docker containerization, microservices architecture, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach will be highly valued. Experience or familiarity with AI agent frameworks and Generative AI technologies is considered a plus, reflecting our commitment to innovation and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Python. This includes creating scalable RESTful APIs, integrating with relational databases, and ensuring high performance and reliability of the backend systems. You will collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, implement best practices for software development, and ensure adherence to security standards. The role also involves deploying applications using Docker, managing microservices architecture, and continuously improving system performance.
